Christmas Gift Guide

Yikes, would you believe it's only 2 weeks till Christmas. This year has just flown by. Considering every day has felt like Groundhog Day, it has gone super quick. I’m sure it's safe to say that we will all be glad to see the back of this year! Christmas seems to be the only thing we have to look forward to before we kick (not a typo. Yes, I do mean kick not kiss) this year goodbye.

Yet, as much as I can’t wait to say ta ta to this beast of a year, I want to share a bit of joy before it's over. So with that said, I bring you my gift guide to help you spread a bit of joy too.

Black Owned Vegan And Ethical Brands

With us being in Black History Month (which also happens to be my birth month - today is my birthday) it has made me reflect on things so I wanted to look at how I can change my own behaviours to help my own community from the inside out. As a community, a lot of us tend to tear each other down instead of building each other up, especially us females

Plastic Free July

If like me the first time I did Plastic Free July, you aren't too sure on how to do your bit, here are a few ways on how you can cut back on your plastic usage both in and out of the home in order to lower your carbon footprint and help save our beautiful oceans and marine life. The future of our planet really does depend on it.

Mummy Self Care

Being a Mum shouldn't mean that you suddenly stop looking after yourself. In actual fact, you really need to look after yourself more than ever because if you aren't a hundred percent, you could fall ill. Then how will you be able to care for your little person? Here are a few of the ways I make sure I am looking after myself

Motherhood

Never knew I could love someone so much. With all that love in my heart, I thought I'd share with you a few things that I have learnt in these last few months, both while pregnant and as a new Mum.

Pizza Express New Vegan Menu

When I first went vegan, it was the first food I thought of when I imagined non-vegan foods that I would miss. But to my utter delight, a few months after going vegan, I found that places such as Zizzi and Pizza Express started to offer vegan options. And recently Pizza Hut actually decided to start stocking vegan cheese to allow vegans to dine there as well as non-vegans.

My First Animal Rights March

I never really thought of myself as a vegan activist but as soon as me and my vegan partner in crime Sarah started to stomp the pavements, we were both so pumped by the energy that surrounded us. We marched along with 10,000 fellow vegans, all with one common goal. To end all forms of animal cruelty, once and for all!

Po_Zu London Sustainable Fashion Rooms

Po-Zu's mission statement for this event was:
"Making sustainable fashion and lifestyle choices is about awareness and creating powerful systemic change. How are consumers, journalists, bloggers doing this and what can you be part of the solution? What does our plant-based economy look like & what is fashions part in this?"⠀
